The pictures speak for themselves and are doing the place justice. What you can't see is the sound of the surf in the distance, the early morning sea fog burned away by the rising sun and the tranquility of the place although at 5 minutes walk from one of the most enjoyable Portuguese beaches we visited. Although we were four I can imagine the house being as enjoyable with a larger group. Olga, the property representative was brilliant and only a call away. We loved it and will certainly get back there someday.

Casa Marcelo provides all the ingredients for a perfect holiday. Set in a quiet road close to the lagoon, the modern architecture nestles amongst its more traditional neighbours without appearing out of place. The house was immaculate when we arrived; the garden is well maintained and better proportioned than it appears on the website, there is also parking within the grounds for 2 cars. We stayed at Casa Marcelo towards the end of January looking for a relaxing break after busy Xmas. This place has it all for you to relax. We felt really reenergised after 1 week but was dying to stay one other. Beautiful house, beautiful surroundings and incredible relaxing. Stayed here for a week in July last year, and wow what a place! Newly built, fully fitted out with everything you need - and more!!! Awesome pool and chill out zone during the day, at night a great area to hold your BBQ with a fire pit in the outside seating area. Five minutes walk from the beach and local restaurants which are beautiful. If you feel venturing out further, Lisbon is only 40 minutes away which is great for a day out - or longer in my case. All in all, a perfect place for a holiday - i will certainly be coming back :)

What can I say...I just want to return as soon as possible . This villa is fantastic - we were 2 families of four plus another single adult . Sublime location deep in the countryside and extremely close to the beach as well literally a few minutes walk to Obidos beach , the villa itself is huge and all the rooms are very spacious , we all loved in the evening staying around the fireplace near the pool ,great experience and great memories ,very luxurious experience with everything thought through well by the owner. Thoroughly recommend and will return no doubt.

Congratulations for the magnificent house, for choosing the very quiet location, and for all the decorative pieces. The kitchen is impeccable with regard to its filling, immense variety of pots, pans, utensils, plates, glasses, clay pots, etc. I know very few with this quantity and variety! Appliances 5 stars. The house has a fantastic sun exposure inside, which makes it very welcoming and comfortable.
The variety of fun also deserves a word of congratulations. TV with a wide variety of channels, DVDs, Playstation, gym, toys for children to play in the garden or pool, Snooker Table, etc.
We don't feel like we're occupying someone's home, but in a vacation villa. Usually some private villas provoke this feeling in the clients, it seems that we are "invading" someone's private space, in this case we don't feel that. Naturally, we respect the space as if it were ours and call for its preservation, but we feel this freedom.
The outside firepit is very pleasant at night.
